Vladimir Olivero is a DPhil Candidate in Oriental Studies at the University of Oxford. Working under the supervision of Alison Salvesen (Oxford) and Geoffrey Khan (Cambridge), his thesis focuses on the relationship between textual criticism and historical linguistics in the Hebrew Bible. Vladimir has a BA and MA in Classics from the University of Milan and an MSt in Classical Hebrew Studies from the University of Oxford. His other research interests revolve around the Septuagint, the Semitic languages, and Assyriology.
Since 2018, Vladimir has co-taught Ugaritic with John Screnock in the Faculty of Oriental Studies. He also teaches Phoenician, Hebrew, and Hebrew texts.
